Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo launched

Toyota has recently launched a new special edition of the Fortuner SUV, christened the Fortuner TRD Sportivo. Designed by Toyota Racing Development (TRD), it gets cosmetic updates all over. Priced at Rs 31.01 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it is only available in the 4×2 AT trim and in a pearl-white shade only.

“Fortuner has proven to be a “True SUV” well recognized for its best in class durability, on-road comfort and off-road prowess. The 2nd generation Fortuner has also continued this legacy with its distinctive, sleek and powerful design backed by improved driving dynamics and has received tremendous response ever since its launch in India last year,” said Akitoshi Takemura, Senior Vice President, Toyota Kirloskar Motors, on the launch.

It features redesigned front and rear bumpers, new 18-inch TRD design alloy wheels, a blackened radiator grille, red-stitching on the seats and TRD Sportivo badges inside-out. Rest everything is similar to the regular model. In the 4×2 AT trim the Fortuner features a 2.8-litre diesel motor mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, traction control, stability control, hill start assist  ABS with EBD and seven airbags.

You can check out the new Fortuner TRD Sportivo at dealerships across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Ahmedabad, Pune, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Lucknow. While bookings are accepted at Toyota dealerships across the country.
