Suzuki two wheelers unveils Hayate EP

Suzuki Motorcycle India has showcased its all new 110cc commuter motorcycle – Hayate EP. Hayate’s engine is powered by 113cc 4-stroke, 1-cylinder, air-cooled engine with Suzuki’s new technology the Super Eco Performance (SEP) which is super sleek piston, high-ignition spark plug and low friction cylinder & piston rings. They aid in improving combustion, producing a high compression ratio, reducing friction and weight reduction.

The design of the Hayate EP is very slick and pretty much similar to its predecessor. It has edgy lines on the tank and tail with sporty mirrors and redesigned graphics. The motorcycle also has longer seat and longer wheelbase with diamond frame chassis, which helps rider to give utility, comfort and stability. On the convenience front, the Hayate EP comes with a maintenance free battery, tubeless tyres and telescopic suspension in front, five-step adjustable rear shock absorber. The motorcycle has 10 litre fuel tank and the curb weight of the bike is 107kg. Motorcycle comes with drum brakes in front as well in rear.

The Hayate EP will be available in the market in the current financial year with the pricing yet to be announced. The motorcycle will go up against the likes of Hero Passion Pro, Honda CB Twister and Yamaha YBR.

“The new Hayate EP provides superior fuel efficiency without compromising on pick-up and due to its riding comfort the motorcycle makes it an ideal ride for daily commuters”, said Mr. Masayoshi Ito, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL).
