Earlier this year at the Auto Expo, Renault revealed a slightly updated version of the Duster. Renault had announced that the new range of Duster would be hitting showrooms in the first quarter of the fiscal year. The Duster has been requiring a nip and tuck for a while now which probably also explains why the company has fast-tracked the launch of the new range of Dusters a month prior to its scheduled launch.
Aside from the introduction of an AMT variant – which is the most significant update – the Duster has also received some mild styling updates, while retaining the original body shape. Additionally the Duster will also get some much needed updates in the form of electrically adjustable & foldable ORVMs with turn indicators. The interior have gone under the knife as well, the new Dusters will have an automatic air-conditioning system, an updated media unit and a re-designed centre console. In terms of essentials of safety, the New Duster will have a host of active and passive safety features including ABS, EBD with Brake Assist, Dual Airbags, ESP & Hill start assist. Also included on the update roster are updated LED Tail Lamps, updated Headlamps, redesigned fog lamps, 16” Gun Metal Finish Alloy wheels and Kayak Roof Rails. Oh. And you can have one in what Renault call Cayenne Orange.
