Audi has launched a limited edition of the Q3, as the festive season is fast approaching. The Dynamic edition gets a slew of cosmetic changes on the outside and some additional features on the inside and is priced at Rs 39.78 lakh. Only 101 units are expected to be made.
On the outside, it gets a rehashed bumper that sits lower than the regular Q3. The air intakes are body-coloured, instead of chrome garnishing. The diffuser too now comes with a sporty aluminium finish, instead of the body coloured one. On the rear, the coupe-like roofline gives way to clear lens tail lights.
The add-on features include puddle lamps, dynamic turn indicators, ambient light package and power adjustable front seats. Other creature comforts from regular trims such as the MMI infotainment system, reverse camera, 20 GB in-built storage and Bluetooth connectivity have been carried over. The dashboard too has been given an inlay of aluminium panels, to give it a sporty look.
Doing duty on the Dynamic Edition is the 2-litre diesel engine, dubbed as 35 TDI. The in-line four cylinder unit churns out 174bhp of power and 380Nm of torque. The Q3 can hit 100kmph in just 8.2 seconds and has top whack of 212kmph. It also comes with Audi’s Quattro AWD system.
This is a great move from Audi India in the wake of the approaching festive season. The demand for SUVs in India has been ever-growing and Audi can expect the Dynamic Edition to do well, as it has been the case with all the Audi SUVs.
