Nissan set to launch the GT-R in September

The GT-R in all its glory will make its presence feel in India as Nissan announces plans to launch the R35-spec of the vehicle in the month of September this year.

A sophisticated four-wheel drive system puts the 542bhp generated from the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 mill to good use by clocking a 0-100kmph timing of 2.5seconds, a feat matched by a certain Bugatti Veyron. To make matters more interesting, it lapped the hallowed Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 8 seconds, the fifth fastest car ever around the “Green Hell”.

Expected price to be around Rs. 2 crore, the GT-R will surely be the much awaited NISMO derived product in India.

Alongside the GT-R, Nissan also announced plans of launching the all new hybrid X-Trail in India in the coming months.
