Nissan India announces a major reshuffle in its management

Nissan India has announced a major restructuring of its management board in India. The current managing director of Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) – Arun Malhotra, has now been appointed as the corporate advisor and Peyman Kargar, chairman of Nissan’s Africa, Middle East and India (AMI) region has been appointed as the interim President of Nissan India operations.

From October 1, 2017, Thomas Kuehl will be holding the role of president, Nissan India Operations. Jerome Saigot, the current vice president of marketing and Datsun business unit, NMIPL will be replaced by Peter Clissold who currently is the president of marketing, AMI region. Jerome Saigot will be responsible for sales and marketing, NMIPL and will directly report to Thomas Kuehl.

“Nissan has invested substantially in our manufacturing and R&D facilities, and in our dealer network, in India. We expect these appointments will bring the right balance of experience and new thinking to accelerate our momentum as we strive to achieve our ambitions for the Indian market,” commented Peyman Kargar on these management changes.
