Triumph has released a short video teasing the new Bonneville Speedmaster, the video also reveals that it will be unveiled in UK on October 3. Considering the spy shots clicked a few months back in Spain and the little amount of detail reveled in the video the new Speedmaster is expected to be a derivative of the Bonneville Bobber.
The previous generation Speedmaster and America models featured Triumph’s old 865cc air-cooled engines. However, Triumph aims to merge the two brands into the new bike, which is expected to feature the same 1200 HT motor as seen on the Bonneville Bobber. The details reveled in the video confirm that it will feature the same slash-cut exhaust and flat handle-bar as on the Bobber with changes shown in the teaser reveal that the Speedmaster might feature dual-disc setup at the front, chunkier front tyre and a pillion seat with backrest.
The Speedmaster and the America models were never sold in India, but it is expected that the new Speedmaster will make it to India and considering Triumph’s great pricing strategy in India it is expected to be priced just a tad bit higher than the new Bobber.
