The 21st of June is World Motorcycling Day, and to celebrate, MotoDreamz a Pune based group of enthusiats will be organising their third MotoDay. Moody 2016 will be held on the 18th and 19th of June, the closest weekend to the 21st.

MotoDay will be held in Lavasa, and will be a two day event with a sizeable number of bikers from around the country participating — close to 3000, according to the organisers. The event will have stalls featuring manufacturer stalls including Triumph, Ducati, DSK Benelli, Indian and Mahindra. In addition to all this, there will be an awards function for manufacturers for bikes launched in the past year.

There will be plenty to do at the event — there will be stand up comedy shows, live music, discussion sessions with experts on customisation and safety. Also, plenty of parts, gear and merchandise will be on sale. A garage sale has been organised as well, where people auction off any parts they have.

The organisers have also organised an off-road trail for people to ride on. Aravind KP, who rides for TVS and will be participating in next year’s Dakar will be leading the trail. Only a limited number of people can participate in this event though. There are plenty of places to stay in Lavasa as well — right from camping to hotel stays, and even five star accommodation, depending on how much you are willing to spend.

Registrations for MotoDay are open and can be bought at http://www.motodreamz.com/
