Mahindra and Mahindra have launched a limited edition version of the Scorpio, and have called it the Scorpio Adventure. Priced at Rs. 13.07 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), the Scorpio Adventure will be limited to only 1000 units.
The Scorpio Adventure is based on the top-end S10 spec of the current generation Scorpio. While the S10 is offered with the option of manual and automatic transmissions, this limited edition SUV will only feature the manual gearbox. Like the S10 Scorpio, it comes with features like the LED eyebrows, body coloured bumpers and cladding, automatic climate control, a 6-inch infotainment system and height adjustable driver’s seat.
But in addition to all this, the Adventure will get decals on the outside, the ORVMs now feature side indicators and the tail lamps also get an update. The S10’s 17-inch alloy wheels now come with a gunmetal finish, and the brake callipers are painted red. The screen for the infotainment system now doubles up as a display for a rear parking camera, and the dual tone interiors feature faux-leather seats with fabric inserts and Adventure decals.
Mechanically, the car is identical to the regular manual S10 Scorpio. It features the 2179cc mHawk engine with a VGT that makes 120bhp and 280Nm of torque. The Scorpio Adventure is available with both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options.
