Jaguar will now be making the F-Pace in its Pune based plant. Available only in the Prestige trim, the SUV is priced at Rs 60.02 lakh, ex-showroom, pan India. The made in India F-Pace Prestige now costs Rs 16.82 lakh less than the outgoing CKD version.

The F-Pace is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cyclinder turbocharged diesel engine that churns out 177bhp of power and 430Nm of torque and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with AWD. The SUV features light-weight aluminium body construction and has features such as Jaguar’s All Surface Progress Control, driving modes and torque vectoring. You also get 19-inch alloys as standard.

On the inside you get four-zone climatic control, leather seats, rear view camera, interior mood lighting, 10.2-inch Touch-Pro screen with navigation, a 380W 11-speaker Meridian sound system and rear recliner seats.

The F-Pace rivals the Mercedes-Benz GLE, which is priced at Rs 64 lakhs, which is dearer by Rs 4 lakh.
