Harley-Davidson offers a ride on Route 66

If you have been eyeing that Harley-Davidson for a while, then now is the best time to go and sign the dotted line. Under its ‘Discover More’ campaign, Harley-Davidson is giving one lucky customer the opportunity to go on a fully paid tour of the iconic Route 66 on one of the US bike maker’s line-up of bikes.

To qualify for the contest, you have to complete an extended test-ride and book any of the bikes from the Dyna, Softail or Touring range, between May 12 to July 31. The prize includes travel to Chicago, accommodation, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle for exclusive use during the duration of the stay and $ 1000 of spending money. The 15-day ride is expected to kick-off in May 2017 and starts from Chicago and ends at Los Angeles.

Route 66 was established in 1926 and was used frequently by immigrants moving to the West. The tour retraces the path with highlights including the Rocky Mountains, the Texas panhandle, Mojave desert, Grand Canyons and Santa Monica, where it ends, after covering a distance of 3000 miles. Also, the rider will be taken to the hometown of Harley-Davidson, Milwaukee to pay a visit to the Harley-Davidson museum.
