Ford has come up with an addition of panoramic sunroof for the 2.2-litre Titanium Endeavour. The 2.2-litre Titanium trim sits between the base Trend 2.2-litre and the 3.2-litre Titanium 4×4 variant. The panoramic sunroof was earlier available only in the top end 3.2-litre variant. It is also gets an addition of side and curtain airbags that the base variant misses out on.
All three variants get 6-speed automatic gearboxes while the top-end variant is offered with 4WD unlike the 2.2-litre 2WD. There are no other changes apart from the addition of the electric sunroof in the SUV and it retains the same mechanicals. The SUV is powered by 2198cc and 3198cc diesel engines that churn out 158.2bhp and 385Nm of peak twist and 197bhp and 470Nm of peak twist respectively. Both the engines are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2.2-litre Titanium is equipped with SYNC 3 connectivity with an eight-inch touchscreen, dual zone air conditioning, key-less entry, traction control and 6 airbags.
Speaking on the addition of panoramic sunroof on the Endeavour, Vinay Raina, executive director, marketing, sales and service, said, “With the introduction of Sunroof on 2.2L Variant, we have enabled customers to have the perfect combination of style, comfort, space, smart in-car technology, outstanding fuel economy and unparalleled ownership experience.”
