Ducati and Diesel have teamed up for the new Ducati Diavel Diesel which was announced as a part of Milan men’s fashion week 2017. The Ducati Diavel which has its roots in the past and Diesel merges its retro-futuristic design to form what they call a ‘hyper-kinetic dynamism’ with textured details on the motorcycle with its intricately designed stainless steel body and prominent welding and classic leather seat. Only 666 such examples will be coming off the production line.

The Diavel Diesel is mechanically identical to the Diavel and is powered by the same 1198.4cc Testastretta L-Twin DS engine that delivers a maximum power of 159.5bhp and 130.5Nm of maximum torque mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Diavel Diesel will also come with the Ducati Safety Pack (ABS and Ducati Traction Control). Apart from that, the Diavel Diesel will feature black lateral anodized air intakes with red lateral air intake covers with a Diesel logo on the inside, a red LCD dash, black Zircotec ceramic coated exhaust pipes, matte black front mudguard, red Brembo front brake calipers and a specially featured “NEVER LOOK BACK” plate.

Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali said that, “The details characterizing the Diavel Diesel cannot fail to captivate connoisseurs of special bikes but also people from different walks of life, such as fashion. It’s always stimulating for us to move outside the world of motorcycling and widen our brand’s areas of interest.”

The motorcycle will be on display at 2017 Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy that will be held from 20 to 22 January, 2017 and the sales are expected to commence in April 2017.
