The Datsun Go-Cross concept created a lot of buzz at the Auto Expo 2016 and now it is all set to make its international debut in the production guise on January 18, 2018 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The production model will be named – Cross. Datsun has released a teaser image that reveals the front fascia of the car and it looks very similar to the concept. Design elements such as the angular headlamps with projectors and LED DRLs, bumper integrated fog lamps and the prominent silver skid plate are carried over as-it-is from the concept. They have however not shared details on the powertrain or the creature comforts that the car will bear.
Datsun’s current line-up in India includes redi-GO, GO and GO+, and the powertrain options include 0.8-litre, 1-litre and 1.2-litre petrol motors. Datsun may showcase the Cross in India at the Auto Expo 2018.
