BMW is on a roll after outselling its arch rivals, Mercedes-Benz and Audi last month. The German carmaker has gone ahead and updated its line-up in the country.
Headlining the list is the M-performance 760Li that comes with a massive 6.6-litre V12, twin-turbocharged engine churning out 601bhp and 800Nm of spin. The luxury sedan cum sportscar is able to sprint to 100kmph in just 3.7 seconds. It also comes with a modified exhaust to amplify the experience. To allow the car to accelerate so quickly is BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system. The engine is mated to 8-speed automatic gearbox. Available in two variants, namely M760Li and M760Li Excellence, the flagship 7 Series is priced at Rs 2.27 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).
The 320i has been replaced by 330i and comes with the same 2-litre engine does duty in the 330i GT. The uprated engine makes 248bhp and 350Nm. Again, the 3 Series petrol is available in two variants, namely Sport Line and M Sport Edition, priced at Rs 42.4 lakh and Rs 44.9 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom Delhi).
