BMW hosted the M Performance training program in Aamby Valley, Pune

BMW conducted the BMW M Performance Training Program in Aamby Valley, Pune on August 27 and 28. The BMW M Performance Training Program focuses on training the drivers to control their cars in challenging situations and how to extract the maximum performance from their M cars. It is a day-long event where the drivers learn to handle situations such as cornering, oversteer, understeer, dynamic braking, avoidance manoeuvres, lane changes and elevation changes. The list of the cars available at the training program include the M3 sedan, M4 coupe, M5 sedan, M6 Gran coupe and X5 M and X6 M SUVs.

To be a part of the event the driver must be at least 18 years old, must have a valid driving license and has to pay an entry fee of Rs 10,000.

At the programme, the drivers were first briefed by a theory presentation which was followed by a short break. Then the experts from BMW demonstrated the seating positions, acceleration and braking. After which there was the lunch break followed by a drag race and taxi laps and at the end of the programme the drivers were certified.

The Aamby Valley event was the second in the series of four, the first was conducted in Delhi while the third and fouth will be conducted in Bangalore and Chennai, on October 13 and November 9, respectively.
