Big Boy Toyz, a used luxury/sports car dealer opened its multi-storey showroom on NH-8, Gurgaon, at an event that was attended by several celebrities and dignitaries. One of the largest car dealerships in India with an area of 36,000 sq ft, it showcases several brands like Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin to name a few.
Big Boy Toyz opened its first showroom in 2009 in Sultanpur, which was spread over an area of 3800 sq ft. The company has witnessed a growth of 40% annually and is selling 18 cars every month, on an average. The current inventory holds over 50 cars with an average price of Rs 1.25 crore for each model. The company intends to stock 110 cars by the end of 2016.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jatin Ahuja, President Big Boy Toyz said, “This showroom has been my childhood dream and I am equally thrilled as I am excited to bring to you this ultra luxury exotic car showroom. I am confident that with the commitment towards quality and customer service that has resulted in 99% repeat customers, we shall surely achieve our target of selling 60 cars a month, soon. Our current turnover is in the range of Rs 150-200 crore. Three years down the line, we are looking at revenues of Rs 1,000 crore.”
Each car sold via Big Boy Toyz goes through 151 quality tests, including verification of service history, insurance history and RTO check to name a few. The company deals in cars that are not more than 4 years old. Cars with odometer reading more than 25,000 km do not qualify for selling.
With the luxury car market in India growing at a faster rate than ever and supercar makers giving importance to the developing countries, there’s immense potential in the ultra premium used-car market.
