Bajaj Auto has decided to re-introduce its naked Pulsar offering – the NS 200 as a part of its Pulsar MY17 range of motorcycles which now come with BS IV compliant engines with the naked launched for Rs. 96,453 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The company had pulled the plug on the Pulsar NS 200, a couple of months after the launch of its semi-faired sibling the AS 200, as it had seen a decline in sales. Bajaj have now decided to once again bring the NS 200 to the Indian market with the addition of a couple of design elements such as the belly pan while sporting a new livery which is available in three options – Graphite Black, Mirage White and Wild Red. The bike continues to bear the perimeter frame encasing the 199.5cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled four valve mill while retaining Bajaj’s triple-spark technology to meet the BS IV emission norms.

The fully-faired Pulsar RS 200 too receives a fresh new livery as the bike now comes with two new colours – Racing Blue and Graphite Black. There is however little change in the bike’s mechanicals or design in itself with the non-ABS version now on sale for Rs. 1,21,881 and the ABS version for Rs. 1,33,883; both prices ex-showroom Delhi.

We will be riding both of the above bikes as well as the entire new Pulsar MY17 range on Feb 8. So stay tuned to our website for our initial impressions.
