Bajaj launches three new Avenger bikes

After unveiling an all new segment for their acclaimed “Pulsar” franchise, i These three new bikes come with all new colour schemes. The Street 220 and 150 come with all new black paint scheme with stylish red and grey graphics on the body and feature a new Avenger insignia on the fuel tank. They also have black painted engines, exhaust, handle bars and black mag wheels also a new instrument cluster and grab rail. Meanwhile, the Cruise 220 comes with a glossy black colour scheme with grey graphics on the body. The Cruise 220 also features a new handle bar, unlike the one on previous Avengers. Though its shares similarities with the old Avenger, the new Avenger has been given a much welcome refresh looks and styling department. The Cruise 220, unlike the Street variants, has more chrome like the old Avenger.

All three variants of the new Avengers are powered by Bajaj’s twin-spark DTS-i single cylinder engine. The Street and Cruise 220 comes with oil-cooled engines while the Street 150 has an air-cooled engine. The Street 220 weighs in at 150kgs, the Cruise 220 is 155Kgs while the smaller Street 150 is 148kgs. All the three models come with a 90/90 section tyres up front and 130/90 section tyres at the back.The new 220cc produces 18.8bhp @ 8400  and 17.5Nm of torque at 7000 rpm and the Street 150 makes  14.3bhp @ 9,000rpm and produces 12.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm which is marginally similar to the Pulsar 150. The front suspension of the bike come in with the telescopic with anti friction brush and twin shock absorbers at the rear of all the three segments.

The new Avengers have been priced between 75,000 to 84,000 (Ex-Delhi). The Avenger Street 150 comes  in for Rs. 75,000(Ex-Delhi) and both the 220 variants comes for Rs. 84000 (Ex-Delhi).
