The Hyundai Ioniq is the first car to offer in three electric versions – hybrid, plug-in-hybrid and all electric. The car has received five-star Euro NCAP safety rating. The car secured all stars in four categories – adult occupant, child occupant, pedestrian and safety assist. The company has also developed a project Ioniq lab to explore future mobility solutions through research, innovations and projects. The project Ioniq derives data from top academies to predict trends of future mobility and helps develop the concept of ‘Freedom in mobility, whenever and wherever.’
Hyundai has launched the 2018 model of the popular hatchback Elite i20 at Rs 5.34 lakh and 6.73 lakh for the Petrol and Diesel variants respectively. It gets a big 17.77 inch touchscreen infotainment system and six-airbags as its stand out features. Another key features include new 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, dual tone exterior colours, air curtain, new tail gate and rear lamp design. The car is powered by 1.4 litre U2 CRDi Diesel engine that makes 88bhp at 4000rpm and 220Nm at 1500-2750rpm and a 1.2 litre Kappa Dual VTVT Petrol that develops 81bhp at 6000rpm and 115Nm at 4000rpm.
