Ducati unveiled a new model under the track focused Panigale marquee the 959 Panigale. They showcased the bike at India Bike Week (IBW) amidst the Ducatisti and motorcycle aficionados from around the country. This is a scaled down version of its higher displacement sibling, the 1299 Panigale which is a perfect track weapon. The bike has been made focusing on the need to suit everyday riding conditions and ease of accessibility. The middle-weight superbike shares its styling with the 1299 Panigale though.
At the heart of this bike is Ducati’s traditional 955cc L-Twin engine which is Euro 4 approved. The bookings for the bike are open and will be made available from July 2016 to the customers in traditional Ducati red colour. It is priced at Rs 14.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Ducati also has plans of launching a new showroom soon to support its expansion and presence in India. Currently, people can buy Ducati bikes from Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon and Bangalore.
