2018 Ghibli comes to India with a starting price of Rs. 1.33 crore

Maserati has launched the 2018 Ghibli in India and will offer three versions of it. The Ghibli Diesel costs Rs. 1.33 crore, while you need to shell out Rs. 1.38 crore for the Ghibli Diesel GranSport and Rs. 1.42 crore for the Ghibli Diesel GranLusso versions. All prices are ex-showroom.

Under the hood, the Ghibli is powered with a 3.0-litre V6 with Common-Rail direct injection developed by Maserati in collaboration with VM Motori.  The motor produces 271bhp and churns out a maximum torque of 600Nm between 2,000 and 2,600 rpm. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels. Maserati claims that the aerodynamic efficiency of the new Ghibli has improved by 7 per cent, reducing the drag coefficient to 0.29 from 0.31.The company also claims that it accelerates from 0-100kmph in 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 250kmph, all this with an efficiency figure of 16.9kmpl!

The 2018 Maserati Ghibli comes fitted with new Adaptive full LED headlights. The car has also adopted the Integrated Vehicle Control system (IVC), which helps to prevent vehicle instability. Moreover, the Ghibli gets the Skyhook suspension system, Electric Power Steering (EPS) and Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS).
