Skoda recently unveiled a sketch of their electric car concept – Vision E, which will be showcased at the Shanghai Motor Show on the 19th of April 2017. In addition to that, Skoda has now released a few more sketches, giving a glimpse of the Vision E’s interiors.

As seen in the pictures, the Vision E features a large touchscreen replacing all the buttons on the centre console. The front passenger’s display is mounted on the dashboard, while the rear passengers get infotainment screens that are integrated into the backrests of the front seats. Additionally, there is a phone box in each door, which allows passengers to charge their phones and connect it with the infotainment screens as well.

Apart from the touchscreens, the cabin sports four individual seats. What is interesting is that these seats can be rotated outwards by 20 degrees when the door opens, which makes it easier for passengers to get in and out of the car.

Skoda CEO Bernhard Maier said, “With the Vision E, we are giving an outlook on Skoda’s future models with electric drive. In addition to plug-in hybrid vehicles, we will also be launching five purely electric cars on the market in various segments before 2025. This will enable us to offer every fourth car with electric drive.”
