Tata Motors has launched the Hexa Downtown starting at Rs 12.18 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi for the base XE variant. The Hexa Downtown edition comes in ‘urban bronze’ colour as Tata calls it and costs Rs 46,000 more than the base XE model.
The Hexa Downtown edition gets two package options – Absolute and Indulge. Both these packages come with Downtown badging, additional chrome for exteriors, wireless charging, side steps, a car care kit and a carpet set. The top of the line variants XT/XTA get 10.1-inch rear seat entertainment systems from Blaupunkt and a dash-mounted LED heads-up display with speed limit alerts, battery voltage indication and tyre pressure information in addition to the aforementioned features. The lower variants with the Indulge package get 16-inch alloy wheels while the Absolute package adds the tan seat covers in addition to the other features in the respective packages.
The special edition Hexa retains the same 2.2-litre 4 pot unit that makes 149.7bhp and 320Nm in the XE trim and 153.8bhp and 400Nm in the XM and XT trims. The base variant gets a five-speed manual transmission and the XM/XT versions come with six-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The range-topping XT variant comes with an optional all-wheel drive system which costs Rs 17.07 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi.
