Suter Racing Technologies (SRT) is well known among the enthusiasts as one of the finest chassis suppliers in the world. SRT products include Suter MMX2 that was developed for Moto2. Notably, Marc Marquez won his Moto 2 title piloting a SRT bike. The Swiss bike maker’s collaboration with Kawasaki and BMW led to the brand’s entry in MotoGP as well.

When Swiss based company revealed the news about the Suter 500 MMX, there was huge speculation that it might hit the streets but unfortunately, this piece of art is not road legal.

The Suter 500 MMX is powered by a 576cc, V4, two-stroke unit with double counter rotating crankshafts inspired from the same technology used on the Moto GP machines. The max power of 189bhp comes out at 13,000rpm, which falls 5 horses short to Valentino Rossi’s 2001 NSR 500 that won him the world championship. It comes with a 6-speed cassette gearbox and fuel injection. With a top speed of 310 plus kmph.

Based on Suter’s CNC aluminium twin spar frame, it allows the rider to completely adjust the steering angle, ride height and seating position. Ohlins does the suspension duties, both at the front and the back. Also on offer is an Akrapovic four single resonance exhaust system. You can even have the wheels in either magnesium or aluminium as per the liking.

Suter had built only 99 units of the 500 MMX and it was being retailed at Rs 79.74 lakh (price in US, excluding taxes and duties), when it was launched one year back. We are not sure if Suter has any stock left, but if they don’t you ought to get one as nothing else can offer as much of Thrill of Riding as this 2-stroke.
