Ford Freestyle available to book online on April 14
The yet-to-be-launched Ford Freestyle will be available for booking online at Amazon India, on April 14 at 2.00 p.m. and the online booking will be open only for a period of 24 hours from the said time. Prospective customers have to make an online payment of Rs 10000 to book the car and only 100 cars are up for grabs for now. The launch of the car is expected to take place at the end of this month.
The Freestyle will be available in both petrol and diesel powertrains. The 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine (which also does the duty in the new Ecosport) makes 94.7bhp and 120Nm of peak twist. The 1.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel mill makes 98.4bhp and 200Nm of max torque. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
On the occasion, Rahul Gautam, the vice president of marketing at Ford India, said, “Through this partnership with Amazon, Ford is bringing an exclusive opportunity for such customers to own India’s first compact utility vehicle Ford Freestyle, from the convenience of their homes, offices or wherever they may be.”
