Ferrari 458 MM Speciale unveiled

Ferrari has unveiled its latest one-off creation, the 458 MM Speciale at the Fiorano circuit, which has been developed exclusively for a British buyer.

The MM Speciale, based on the iconic V8 engine instilled 458 Speciale is designed by Ferrari’s in-house design centre and is built on the existing 458 platform. The buyer was looking for something along the lines of the classic 1984 Ferrari GTO, so the 458 MM Speciale gets a blacked out A-pillar making the windscreen and windows look like a single piece of glass, and giving the roof a floating effect. The overall stance of the car thus looks lower as compared to the 458 Speciale and allows it perform better, aerodynamically.

The 458 Speciale MM also pays homage to the Italian flag with its livery that is pasted on the Bianco Italia colour scheme. On the cosmetic front, the car gets new carbon-fibre bumpers on the front and the rear, along with all new side intakes, allowing the rake to cool down faster. The light clusters have been modified as well. The tail features a spoiler incorporated into the roof and gets a beltline that runs along the door to the front wheel arch, changing the overall stance of the 458 Speciale. Also on offer is exclusively designed set of alloys.

On the inside, the car gets an all new audio system and chocolate coloured upholstery along with white satin rings around the tunnel controls, to match the owner’s specific wishes.

The 458 MM Speciale retains the V8 from the 458 Speciale that churns out 597bhp and does the 0-100kmph sprint in 3 seconds flat.
