Ducati India has launched the 959 Panigale Corse at Rs 15.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is Rs 67,000 dearer than the 959 Panigale, which is priced at Rs 14.53 lakh. The special edition bike gets a red and white paint scheme inspired by the company’s MotoGP bikes. There are no mechanical changes made to the bike.

The other features are same as that of the 959 Panigale like the 8-level Ducati Traction Control (DTC), the ride-by-wire, engine brake control, three riding modes and the dual channel ABS from Bosch. The India-spec 959 Panigale Corse does not get the Ohlins suspensions, lithium battery, Ohlins steering damper and Ducati Performance titanium silencers by Akrapovic (inspired by the MotoGP bikes), which are offered as standard equipment in international markets.

The special edition bike is powered by the same 955cc Superquadro liquid cooled L-twin engine, which makes 148bhp at 10,500rpm and 102Nm at 9,000rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox equipped with Ducati Quick Shift (DQS).

The bike will be displayed at the upcoming DRE Track Days, which will be held at Buddh International Circuit on October 13 and 14.
