The daily commute has been quite fun nowadays, ever more so than before with the Hornet. Because at the end of the day when my phone’s juice has drained out (need to upgrade), I have been able to charge it on the go with the ChargePLUS Pro Uno which we tested out (see Tried & Tested, Evo India issue, July 2016).
I am looking forward to riding the Hornet in the monsoons, as I quite enjoyed riding it home through the first thunderstorm. Not a wise move but admittedly, it was a blast, zipping through slow-moving traffic in cool weather despite the wet roads. The MRF rubber held up its end of the bargain during mixed conditions and hopefully will continue to do so.
It is also fresh out of service and by the time you’re reading this, the Hornet and I would have made several excursions to Lavasa, Aamby Valley and if time permits Mahableshwar. All stunning locales during the monsoon season.
The one sour point which I would like to address would have to be the lighting system. It is adequate and does help in low-light condtions, but would benefit from a more powerful bulb, something I wish to upgrade in the near future.
