Audi R8 V10 Decennium celebrates a decade of the lovely V10

To celebrate the ten years of the V10, Audi has launched the R8 V10 Decennium. Audi has earmarked just 222 examples of the special edition sportscar for the worldwide audience. Of these, only 10 will be on sale in the United Kingdom. For a brief period, this car will be a part of the new Audi R8 family. “Decennium” is the Latin word for “decade”. Hence, this model marks 10 years of the beloved naturally aspirated V10 engine. Lastly, this announcement comes shortly before the anticipated launch of the new Audi R8 that features sharper exteriors and improved suspension and performance.

What does the Audi R8 V10 Decennium offer?

The naturally-aspirated 5.2-litre engine in its most powerful avatar produces 602bhp and 580Nm. Similarly, the Decennium catapults from nought to 100kmph in just 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 205kmph.

On the exterior, the R8 V10 Decennium flaunts exclusive grey matte paintwork, bronze-coloured highlights. Audi has finished the milled 20-inch wheels and the intake manifold in matt bronze. Similarly, they have finished the spoiler, side sills and the diffuser in black. This accentuated by the black Audi rings and badging.

Audi has finished the interiors completely in black, with inlays in gloss carbon fibre door trims. The quilted diamond pattern stitching on the seats is finished in gloss black. The gear lever and the steering wheel – with Alcantara rim feature copper-coloured stitching, as do the centre armrest, the door armrest and the door rail.
