New Aston Martin Superleggera pays homage to its association with James Bond
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of James Bond film, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Aston Martin has announced a special edition of the DBS Superleggera. Called the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (who would have guessed!), it will be limited to 50 units globally. It will be Painted olive green to match the original 1969 Aston Martin DBS driven by James Bond (George Lazenby) in the movie.
Brute in a suit
The Superleggera remains mechanically the same. A 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 powers the super GT which produces a staggering 715bhp at 6500rpm and 900Nm from 1800-5000rpm. The quad-pipe exhaust consists of active valves which give it a throaty and commanding exhaust note.
The Gentlemen’s supercar
With all that power under the hood this super GT is a behemoth on one side. On the other it is an elegant machine with immaculate design and style, which is visible everywhere. The special edition DBS Superleggera sports a carbon fibre splitter, aero blade and unique diamond turned and forged wheels. A bespoke metal grille featuring six bright horizontal vanes replicate the distinctive feature of the DBS from the movie.
On The Inside
The inside of the DBS Superleggera is in pure black leather, accented in grey. The cockpit has red accents, inspired by the red-trimmed glovebox in the original car. Owners of this James Bond Special Edition will have an optional bespoke designed drinks case which fits in the boot.

The car will retail at £ 300,007 which converts to Rs 3.25 crore approx, before Indian taxes and duties.
