Sighting a huge growth in the e-mobility and connected mobility space in the wake of the Union Government’s push for greater emphasis on e-mobility, ZF, the renowned automotive technology company from Germany, is looking for collaborations with start-up ecosystems in India. According to the company such start-ups will help develop new business models and new software solutions and hence shorten the innovation cycle. It will also allow greater innovations in engineering and accelerated speeds to market.

“Collaboration with start-ups will accelerate the digitalization of our products, processes and culture. Expanding our partnerships with newly emerging start-ups alongside our traditional partners will help us to deliver added value to our customers through enhanced products and services,” explains Mamatha Chamarthi, chief digital officer, ZF. “ZF has multiple benefits from working with start-ups including unconventional thinking, creative new processes and quick turnaround of an idea to a scalable product. Moreover, the closer contact to start-ups will have a positive influence on our corporate culture,” she further added.

The company has recently set-up its India Technology Center in Hyderabad, which will focus on development in electronics and embedded software. And thus cater to growing demands for software solutions in the automotive domain.
