Tork Motorcycles launched their new electric bike, the T6X, on September 30. Priced at Rs 1.25 lakh, the Indian made motorcycle has received a decent response with over 1,000 bookings made in 24 hours, after its launch.
It does not come as a surprise as the T6X comes loaded with features. First of all, electric bikes are plagued with a short battery life, equating to major expenditure for the owner. It comes with a battery life of up to 80,000 to 1,00,000km. It can also be quick charged, up to 80 per cent, in a short period of just one hour and full charge takes two hours, only. The maximum range the T6X offers is 100km, with a top speed of 100kmph, which is ideal for city conditions. The T6X is also comfortable to ride as it comes with different power modes, such as eco and sport. The trellis frame also incorporates a telescopic fork in the front and a spring loaded hydraulic, at the rear, like a regular gasoline powered two-wheeler. Then there are other smart features such as remote monitoring the bike with a mobile app, geo-fencing and anti-theft. Talking about the safety features, it comes with ABS and front disc brake as standard.
