Skoda‘s all new promising SUV, the Kodiaq, will be launched on September 1 in Berlin. As the world awaits its launch, Skoda has released a few images of the interiors of the production version of the full-sized SUV.

One of the biggest USPs of the car will be the third row and as Skoda claims, it is expected to be a comfortable place for full-sized adults. The cleverly packaged design will retain the sloping coupe-like roofline and will still offer similar headroom to third row occupants as the second one. Coming to the dashboard, Skoda has skimmed the futuristic, large displays as seen on the Vision S concept. Although an all new design for a Skoda, the layout remains functional with a glass-based touchscreen honing the central area of the dashboard accompanied by two large vertical AC vents. The heated steering gets all the regular controls as expected from a car of this class. Also seen in the image are aluminium pedals. Skoda claims the SUV to be the largest in its class, in terms of space. The boot space is typical of a Skoda at 720 litres, which can be stretched to 2,065 litres with the third row seats folded.

Expected to be launched in India soon, the Kodiaq will be powered by same engines that have been doing duty on the Octavia.
