Porsche’s Panamera range expands with a new addition named as Panamera Diesel Edition Gran Turismo. The car is tinkered around in all departments barring the same 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine. The motor has 250 horses on tap translating into a 6 second dash to hundred from standstill.
Commenting on the introduction of the latest Panamera variant, Pavan Shetty, Director, of Porsche India, said: “The Panamera Diesel Edition is a thrilling four-door sports car that provides an abundance of driving pleasure, combined with styling accents that typify this specific model from Porsche. The range of additional equipment being available as standard; makes this premium model a truly attractive offering for our enthusiasts.”
The Gran Turismo variant gets a bi-colour interior trim with part-leather upholstery in Black-Luxor Beige with the Porsche crest embossed on the head-rests. The ‘Sport Design’ steering wheel and door sill guards will bear the ‘Edition’ lettering. 585-watt Bose Surround Sound System enhances the entertainment experience from the seven-inch touch-screen Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system.
Additional features such as , such as Adaptive Air Suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Park Assist (front and rear), including reversing camera, electric slide and tilt sun roof, soft close doors, 4-zone climate control and Power Steering Plus come standard on the Gran Turismo.
The new Panamera Diesel Edition is now available for order at Porsche Centres across India. The model starts at Rs 1.04 crore ex-showroom Mumbai.
