The festive season in India is just around the corner and looking forward to it, Mahindra has launched the facelift model of their entry-level SUV christened the KUV100 NXT. The new model features a host of cosmetic and equipment updates on the previous model and the prices start at Rs 4.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the petrol model and Rs 5.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the diesel.
Exterior updates include a sharper design with a new grille at the front with vertical slats, faux silver skid plates at the front and the rear, new 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, squared out wheel arches with plastic cladding all around and new head lamps and tail lamps with more detailing.
The KUV 100 NXT features a cleaner interior layout with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation and Mahindra’s Bluesense technology at the centre. And the list of available equipment includes power folding wing mirrors, tailgate remote lock/unlock, rear parking sensors, cooled glove box, mood lighting and steering mounted controls.
Mechanicals of the car remain the same. It is available with the same mFalcon engine options, a 1.2-litre 3 cylinder petrol motor churning out 82bhp of power and 115Nm of torque, and a 1.2-litre diesel motor churning out 77bhp of power and 190Nm of torque. Both the engines are available with a 5-speed manual gearbox only.

The KUV100 NXT is available in 8 colour options – flamboyant red, fiery orange, pearl white, dazzling silver, designer grey, midnight black and 2 dual tone options. It comes with a 6-seat arrangement as standard while the 5-seat model will be made to order.
