Hyundai’s marketing mantra for the Grand i10 is humour in the digital space

With more than half the youth residing in the digital space, Hyundai has decided that the best way to catch the attention of the Grand i10 consumer was through a meme competition. The Korean car manufacturer has tied up with India’s seven most acclaimed stand-up-comedians to popularise this campaign.

To register as a participant, all you need to do is login into http://www.itswowsome.com/ with your Facebook or Twitter login and create a meme on any one of the artists who you think will be best suited to your concept. Once your meme is ready, you need to share it on your social media platforms with the hashtag #wowsome. As long as the memes you create are socially acceptable and are on the theme of ‘comeback’, you stand to win a surprise gift from Hyundai.
