Hyundai has launched the updated i20 Active at Rs 6.99 lakh for the 1.2-litre petrol engine Kappa base variant going all the way to Rs 10.01 lakh for the top-of-the-line 1.4-litre U2 diesel SX dual tone variant. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
The facelifted Hyundai i20 Active gets a new dual tone blue and white paint job. It also gets rubber padding on the boot lid with ‘Active’ written on it. However, it doesn’t get the new tail lamps that are seen in the facelifted Hyundai Elite i20 that was launched earlier this year. Interior highlights include a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link, body colour paint around the front corner AC vents and top of the gear lever. The same theme is continued on the edges of the front seats as well.
The car retains the 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 82bhp and 114.7Nm of peak torque and the 1.4-litre 4-cylinder diesel mill that makes 88.7bhp and 219.6Nm of peak twist. The petrol engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission while the diesel unit comes paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
