As part of its 2020 range in the Indian market, Maserati will now offer twin-turbo V6 petrol engines in its Ghibli and Quattroporte saloons and Levante SUV. The three models will use an identical 2,979cc 60deg twin-turbo V6 petrol engine in two states of tune: 345bhp and 500Nm for the base variant, and 424bhp and 580Nm in the S variant. The engines all mated to eight-speed ZF Automatic gearboxes, are designed by Maserati Powertrain and built at the Ferrari plant in Maranello and have been introduced as BS6 compliant. Price start at Rs 1.31crore for the Ghibli, Rs 1.42 crore for the Levante and Rs 1.64 crore for the Quattroporte (all prices ex-showroom).
For the new engines, in true Maserati tradition, the brand has fashioned their exhaust system to be modulated by pneumatic valves, for the trademark exhaust note. Additionally, as in the diesel variant, all three models will get a redesigned gearshift lever featuring shorter travel. Coupled with the new gearshift action, the driving modes cluster on the center console has also been updated. However, there’s more than just a boost for the performance enthusiasts, as Maserati has kept a track on the creature comforts as well. Firstly, the MTC+ infotainment system (which all three models share) with a high resolution 8.4-inch multi-touch screen and a double rotary knob on the center console has received an update for its display graphics, along with improvements in the climate control system, which has been revised and is now even more customisable.
Moving into the interiors, there’s the addition of the full-grain Pieno Fiore leather, available as an option in all Levante, Ghibli and Quattroporte versions in three colours with specific stitching on the seats and double stitching on the door panels. Alongside the Pieno Fiore leather option, Maserati offers two new high-gloss interior veneers for the Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans and three new veneers for the Levante.
Finally, two new tri-coat colours Rosso Potente and the deep dark Blu Nobile have been added to the existing roster of ten body colours for the Quattroporte and eleven each for the Ghibli and Levante models, along with five brand new designs in the 20 and 21-inch wheels, two each for the Levante and Quattroporte models and one for the Ghibli.

Levante S – Rs 1.53 crore
