Bugatti, the exotic hyper car manufacturer has reached its sales target in 2017 for the Chiron. Bugatti received orders for 300 units of the Chiron, out of which they have completed deliveries to 70 customers across the world till now. The production of Bugatti Chiron is limited to 500 units only. Production of the Chiron began late last year and the initial deliveries began in March this year. The Bugatti Chiron was unveiled last year at the Geneva Motorshow.
The majority of buyers were from Europe, with 43 per cent orders. North America followed second with 26 per cent of orders and the Middle East market share being 23 per cent. The Asia Pacific region accounted for 8 per cent of the sales overall.
The Bugatti Chiron is propelled by a 7993cc W16 engine with two turbo chargers making a colossal 1500bhp and a mind twisting 1600Nm of peak torque, available from a low 2000rpm right up to 6000rpm.
Speaking on reaching the sales target, Wolfgang Dürheimer, president of Bugatti Automobiles, said, “It is a tremendous success for the entire Bugatti team that we have already reached the target of 70 vehicles in the first full year of production of the Chiron. This outstanding performance is especially important because we aim to keep the waiting times for our customers as short as possible.”
