When the Porsche Panamera Turbo burst on to the scene it changed the way car owners would look at their cars. A luxury sedan didn’t just have to be luxurious, it had to drive like a sports car when you wanted it to while still taking you from point A to B in the lap of luxury. Powering the Panamera Turbo is the 4-litre twin turbo V8 screamer that makes 542bhp of power and 770Nm of torque, which is 29bhp and 70Nm more than its predecessor. This improves the 0-100kmph time to 3.8 seconds and takes this luxury sedan to 306km/h. The car features adaptive air suspension and rear wheel steering as seen on the 911. We drove it sometime back and loved how the car combined supercar performance with the comfort and luxury of a sedan. It has certainly shown every other manufacturer the way forward.
What’s more? If you are too worried about the way the Porsche Panamera looks from the rear, this might just help you make that buying decision.
