Ganesh Murthy

Bajaj Auto has equipped the Pulsar 150 with a 230mm rear disc brake setup and split seats and has launched it at Rs 78,016. It also gets a new colour scheme, split grab rails, fatter 37mm front forks and tubeless tyres. Mechanically it remains the same though. The Pulsar 150 gets 17-inch alloys and the rear gets 120 section tyre.

The Pulsar 150 retains the single cylinder air cooled 149cc engine that makes 13.8bhp and 13.4Nm of torque. Since Bajaj launched the motorcycle in March itself, the bike doesn’t get ABS, which became mandatory from April 1 on all motorcycles above 125cc.

At this price point, the Pulsar 150 goes up against the Honda CB Unicorn 160 CBS which is priced at Rs 76,116, ex-showroom Delhi.
