Honda’s upcoming Creta challenger, the BR-V has broken cover at this year’s Auto Expo. We drove the BR-V (click here for our review) last year and we thought that it could give the Creta a run for its money. At the time we did not have a confirmed launch date, however, at the expo this year Honda have confirmed that the BR-V will be one of two new cars making their way to Indian roads in the upcoming fiscal year.
The BR-V unique 7 seater set up will be a major selling point for the C-SUV, and the fact that it has been designed for the south-east asian market, increases its chances of success. Honda also announced that there will be a new version of the Accord, which is its flagship brand. The 9th generation Accord is said to be built on a highly efficient powertrain and feature class-par interiors.
Also on display at the Expo from Honda, included their revolutionary 2&4 track-day concept, a Mclaren Honda MP4-30 Formula one and a Honda Jazz Racing concept, prepared by Honda’s Indian R&D Team.
