Expect a big bike showdown at the HMSI pavilion at the Auto Expo. While we can confirm that the Africa Twin will be launched, there is a lot more to look forward to in the sport and naked category.
Honda Africa Twin
The new 2016 Africa Twin will be launched by Honda at the Auto Expo 2016. The Africa Twin is powered by a 998cc parallel twin engine with a unicam four-valve design and a 270 degree crankshaft. It develops 94bhp at 7500rpm and 98Nm of torque at 6000rpm. Two gearboxes are on offer – a six speed manual and a six speed DCT with on- and off-road riding modes. Both versions have ABS standard with rear ABS on/off and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). Honda claims that the 18.8-litre fuel tank gives the Africa Twin a range of 400km.

Honda CBR500R
The new 2016 CBR500R is the sportier version of the CB500F and will be showcased along with its naked sibling at the Auto Expo 2016. The CBR500R was first showcased at the Indian Auto Expo 2014 in Delhi. The new CBR500R looks bigger, muscular and has an aggressive styling with comfortable riding position. The CBR500R is powered by the same 471cc parallel-twin engine as that of the CB500F which produces 47bhp of maximum power and 43nm of peak torque. The CBR500R is offered in both ABS and as well non-ABS versions internationally.
Honda CB500F
The 2016 CB500F was first launched recently at the EICMA 2015 in Milan, Italy. The New CB500F is the improved version of the 2013 model with new LED lamps both at the front and the rear, muscular tank and newly-designed compact cross-section mufflers. The CB500F is the naked version of the Honda CBR500R and somehow resembles the CB1000R. It is powered by the same 471cc parallel twin-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine which also powers the CBR500R. The engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox which produces 47bhp of maximum power and 43Nm of peak torque.
Honda CB650F
The CB650F is the naked sibling of the CBR650F which was launched in India on August 2015. The CB650F is powered by a 649 cc in-line-four liquid-cooled CB unit engine which pumps out 87bhp of max power and 63Nm of peak torque. ABS will be offered as standard. The CB650F being a naked bike will be lighter than its faired sibling and is also expected to be more affordable alternative.
Honda CB500X
The CB500x is the touring version of the CBR500R and the CB500F. The CB500X is a 471cc parallel twin fuel injected liquid cooled engine. We might get to see the new CB500X at the expo as we suspect Honda might display all the three 500cc category bikes of the CB series.
