The Indo-Italian jodi of DSK Benelli brings forth four new motorcycles for the Indian market. These four new bikes have been unveiled with them being available on sale shortly.
Benelli showcased its TNT Naked T-135, making it the smallest Italian to go on sale in India. The puny 134.7cc motor develops 12.47bhp and 10.8Nm of torque. A 5-speed gearbox has been coupled to the fuel-injected engine. Upside down front forks and rear monoshock is a first for a 135cc bike in India as it also gets disc brakes at both ends — a 220mm front and a 190mm rear disc. The bike has a tyre profile of 120/70-R12 and 130/70-R12.
The on-off roader TRK now also comes in a smaller 499.6cc avatar named the TRK502. The inline twin cylinder liquid cooled engine pumps out 46.93bhp with torque figures of 45Nm. The bike too sports upside down forks with a 145mm of suspension travel. Twin 320mm floating discs at the front and a single 260mm disc at the rear have been bolstered with ABS.
For all the motard fans, Benelli has brought the BX250. The single cylinder 249.2cc liquid cooled bike will generate 24.8bhp and 21.5Nm of torque. ABS notably missed here as the front gets a 280mm disc and the rear a 240mm.
The faired version of the TNT 300 — the Tornado 302 was also displayed as well as ABS versions of the TNT 600i and the TNT 600GT.
