Honda Cars India have issued a voluntary recall of 41,580 vehicles of their lineup which were manufactured in the year 2012 with an issue of the front passenger airbags.
The models came with Takata front passenger airbag inflators and as part of Honda’s global recall campaign, the company has announced to replace the component in all the affected vehicles free of charge.
The models affected were the previous generations of the Jazz, their most popular car the City, the Civic and the Accord. Below is the number of vehicles affected per model:

Customers with the affected models will be personally contacted by the company as they can head over to their nearest HCIL dealer and get it replaced.
