2019 Geneva Motor Show: A glimpse into what Mercedes-Benz will offer

The 2019 International Geneva Motor Show will start on March 7 and end on March 17. The Disneyland of auto enthusiasts has everything to offer, from new cars to next-gen tech. This year, Mercedes-Benz is showcasing the CLA Shooting brake, the V-Class,  an all-electric SUV, the company’s Formula E car for the next season and some special appearances.

The brand will enter the ABB FIA Formula E as Mercedes-Benz EQ Formula E team in the 2019/20 season. Mercedes-Benz will display their Formula E showcar at the Geneva Motor Show and will mark the beginning of their new brand, EQ. The smart forease+ will also be on display along with more than eight services such as private carsharing or package deliveries directly into the vehicle make urban living easier. The new user guidance system is also aimed at easing up the operation.

A smart sporty car that can gobble up your grocery too

Mercedes-Benz will be unveiling the CLA shooting brake, a practical, elegant counterpart of the CLA Coupe. The car will feature the latest driving assistance systems to provide a high level of active safety in the segment by adopting functions from the S-Class.

The people-carrier gets the spotlight, again

The new V-Class which made a world debut in January, will grace the Geneva Motor Show, its show debut. The new V-Class gets a redesigned front and rear end, the OM 654 four-cylinder diesel engine with various power outputs. The V-Class gets the 9G-Tronic automatic transmission for the first time along with new safety and assistance systems.

A facelifted Mercedes-Benz SUV

The German marquee will showcase the facelifted GLC. The new model will boast a revised engine range, new driving assistance along with new MBUX and gesture control.

Special appearances by…

For the first time, the S 65 Final Edition, SL 500 Grand Edition and the SLC 300 Final Edition will be displayed at the Geneva Motor Show. The S 65 Final Edition marks the final chapter in the success story of the 6.0-litre V12 bi-turbo engine in the S-Class Saloon.
