HDFC ERGO launches ‘Overnight Vehicle Repair Service’ for cars

HDFC ERGO has launched a unique initiative to get your car repaired overnight in case of damages caused due to an accident. Customers can get their car delivered the next day itself, so that there is no hindrance in your daily routine.

Customers need to register a claim with HDFC ERGO and share photos of the damaged vehicle with the insurance company. The service is applicable only for vehicles that have minor damages so that they can be repaired quickly. Due to the limited timeline and the limited number of workshops available, the cars are repaired on a first-come-first-serve basis and based on the repairs, the vehicle will be picked up for the overnight service and delivered to the customer next day in the morning by the service professionals. The service is offered for taxis too.

On the launch of the new initiative, Anurag Rastogi, member of executive management, HDFC ERGO general insurance company said, “Customers struggle in getting their cars repaired given the daily schedule they need to follow. At HDFC ERGO, we are always looking at new ideas and ways in which we ensure our customers are put at ease. The Overnight Vehicle Repair Service allows customers to get their cars repaired after the regular commuting hours and will be delivered back to their doorstep, making its ready to be used the very next day, without them having to compromise on their commuting routine.”

The service is currently offered in cities like Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Hyderabad and Chennai. The insurance company plans to cover more cities with this initiative in the near future.
