Honda launches 2018 WR-V Edge Edition

Honda has launched a special ‘Edge’ edition of the WR-V at Rs 8.01 lakh and Rs 9.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the petrol and diesel variants respectively. The car is slotted between the base S trim and the top-of-the-line VX trim. The car gets additional features like rear parking sensor, inside rear view mirror with rear camera display, Honda Connect App and alloy wheels, as compared to the base variant.

The Edge edition gets the same 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine and 1.5-cylinder diesel engine that is seen in the regular WR-V versions, producing 88.7bhp and 98.6bhp. The petrol engine comes paired to a 5-speed manual transmission while the diesel gets a 6-speed manual gearbox.

For the additional features it gets, the WR-V Edge edition is dearer than the base petrol and diesel variants by Rs 23,000 and is affordable by close to a lakh compared to the top-of-the-line variants.
