Delhi Auto Expo to be held from Feb 09th to 14th

The 2018 edition of the Auto Expo will bear witness to some of the biggest launches and showcases from leading automotive companies in India. Motorcycle manufacturers Hero, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Mahindra and Mahindra, Piaggio and Suzuki will be present at the Auto Expo 2018 with their very best. Honda is expected to showcase the Interceptor, the Goldwing and the CBR 300. Hero might be bringing in the X-Pulse and the Xtreme 200S. The Kawasaki stand might have some heavyweights including the touring version of the H2-the H2 SX, the Z900 RS, the Ninja 400 and the recently unveiled Vulcan 650 while Piaggio is expected to bring out the younger sibling to the SR150, the SR125. The Aprilia Caponord might also be displayed. Suzuki is expected to unveil the Gixxer 250.

Carmakers Honda, Hyundai, Mahindra and Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Toyota and Renault will also make their presence felt at the Delhi Auto Expo 2018. Hyundai will most likely unveil the Kona. The Genesis sub-brand might also be showcased. Also on the cards is the Santro concept that will rival the Maruti Suzuki Alto. The Ioniq might also be unveiled. The i30N too might be showcased along with Hyundai’s WRC cars. Mahindra and Mahindra are expected to showcase their electric SUV and the Innova rival codenamed the U321. A long wheelbase version of the TUV will be displayed. Mahindra is also believed to be bringing its Mahindra Racing Electric car. An update to the e20 would be there too. The company’s flagship tourer, the Mojo is also due for an update and there have been spyshots of a budget Mojo circulating around the internet. So we might see that too. The Jawa motorcycles too might be present at the expo. The Maruti Suzuki stall will bear witness to some very important cars for the manufacturer. The new Swift could be launched, along with the Swift Sport, the Ciaz facelift and the new Grand Vitara. Tata motors could be all set to launch its flagship SUV, codenamed Q501 too. The new SUV might sit between the Safari and Hexa. The eTigor that started rolling off the assembly lines recently might be publicly unveiled. Honda is expected to bring the diesel Accord to India along with the CR-V diesel. The new Civic might be the big product launch. We can expect for the Civic Type R to be showcased as well. The real showstopper could be the NSX however. Renault might be showcasing the Duster facelift along with a Kwid concept. Toyota is expected to make a big announcement regarding the Vios – Toyota’s Honda City rival. The Lexus LC500 might also be displayed.

Kia, BMW and Mercedes-Benz will be the luxury marquees at the event. Kia is looking to use the Delhi Auto Expo 2018 as a springboard for its Indian ambitions. Kia, it is believed, might launch a selection of its cars at the event. The Stinger, the Stinger GT, the Picanto and the Rio might be showcased. The country’s luxury car market leader might be bringing the new S Class along with the S Class AMG. The stunning new CLS and E63 AMG might also be there. BMW will bring the new M5, the i3s and the 6 Series GT. BMW Motorrad might showcase the R Nine T and the K1600 Bagger along with the F 750 GS and the F 850 GS. The G 310 R along with the G 310 GS could also be showcased. Held once every two years, the Delhi Auto Expo has been a vital event in every major manufacturer’s calendar. The Delhi Auto Expo will be held between February 09th and 14th, 2018.
